Extended National Consumer Price Index (IPCA / CPI), Brazil

Overview

Extended National Consumer Ptice Index covers urban households with the combined income of 1 to 40 minimum wages. The index is calculated by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) and is usually published in the middle of the month following the subject one.

The index dat ais available since 1979 and 100 corresponds to Dec 1993.
